I created an account with Charles Schwab because I have a 401k plan with my current employer Home Depot.
So, Home Depot offers 401k plan and the returns are okay, but not great.
I made a decision to do my own investment decisions. I opted for a self-directed brokerage account under Home Depot's 401k plan.
That's how Charles Schwab Personal Choice Retirement Account came in to the picture.
A little about me:
I am 22 years old with a very long time horizon. I don't need the money til I am 65 years old. My investing style is aggressive. I started with blue-chip stocks, but I now progressively taking more aggressive approach.
